Not everyone dresses up for Halloween. Some of us enjoy staying home and handing out candy and being entertained by the awesome costumes of trick-or-treaters who beg for candy.
Staying home and handing out candy doesn’t have to be dull. After all, Halloween is supposed to be a magical night, as pagans believe it’s the night that the veil is thinnest and we’re able to more easily communicate with and feel the presence of our lost loved ones. Or just to binge watch period, because they’re just that freakin’ good!
Witches of Eastwick
This 1987 classic is about a warlock who breezes into town and seduces three friends while bringing their magical abilities to the surface.
Teen Witch
Teen Witch is a super cheese, feel-good classic about a dorky teen who powers are activated upon her 16th birthday. She’s always wanted to be “the most popular girl.” And with her powers, she can make her dreams come true.
Practical Magic
Probably one of the best films about sisterhood, Practical Magic is about two sisters who share a strong bond. But because they come from a long line of powerful witches, falling in love is a dangerous game.
The Craft
Teen angst+high school politics+four witches=one of the best damn cult classics ever. Four high school outcasts form a coven and take revenge on the people who wronged them. But how far is too far?
